Itinerary

    • The group will assemble in Shimla and be transferred to Janglik. 
    • From here, you start your scenic drive through the picturesque valleys, either winding past the serene beauty of Khadapathar or the delightful routes via Narkanda and Rohru. 
    • The 8-9 hour journey to Janglik is a feast for the eyes, with vast verdant landscapes and quaint villages unfolding along the way. 
    • Upon arrival at Janglik village, you’ll be briefed on the trek ahead, setting the stage for the adventure. 
    • As night falls, gather around a cozy bonfire, savor a hearty dinner, and camp under the starlit sky.
    • Overnight stay at Janglik.

Pickup Point – Shimla (Old Bus Stand)

Timing – 6.30 am (Tentative) 

  • Awake to the serene surroundings of Janglik and take your time exploring this heritage-rich village, a haven for photographers with its traditional architecture and timeless charm. 
  • After a leisurely breakfast, you set off on the trek towards Dayara Thach. 
  • The trail winds through thick forests and expansive meadows, offering a moderate yet enchanting 4-5 hour trek. 
  • As you reach the breathtaking meadow of Dayara Thach, you’ll be captivated by its beauty. 
  • Begin your day exploring the picturesque meadows of Dayara before setting out on the trek to Litham Thach. 
  • The path promises dense forest cover, gushing streams, and lush meadows, leading you to an altitude gain of 737 feet within three hours. 
  • As you traverse the Gunas Pass, you’ll be greeted by the snow-clad Dhaulandhar range and the pristine beauty of Silver Birch. 
  • Reaching the Litham campsite involves crossing the Chandranahan stream. 
  • Here you can relax in this idyllic setting, with stunning views of the Chandranahan Waterfalls, Chandranahan Lake, and the surrounding snow-capped peaks.
  • Dinner followed by an overnight stay at Litham Thach.
  • Today’s adventure takes you to the enchanting Chandranahan Lake, a glacial tarn nestled in a bowl-like amphitheater surrounded by perennial snow. 
  • You’ll follow the shepherds’ trail to the top of the waterfall, a journey that offers breathtaking views and takes about an hour from the waterfall to the lake. 
  • At the lake, revel in the serene beauty of the snow and stone cairns before descending back to Litham, where you can unwind and soak in the natural splendor.
  • Dinner followed by an overnight stay at Litham Thach. 
  • From Litham Thach, embark on a 4-hour trek to Nalabansh, located at a lofty 13,000 feet. 
  • The trail takes you through the dramatic cliffs of the Rupin Valley on the right, the descent from there offers the first glimpses of Buran Ghati and the cascading Gunas Waterfall. 
  • After a bit more than an hour’s climb, you’ll reach the tranquil campsite at Nalabansh. 
  • Here, you can relax under the starry skies. 
  • Dinner followed by an overnight stay at Nalabansh. 
  • Prepare for an exhilarating day as you tackle the thrilling climb to Buran Ghati at 15,000 feet. 
  • Though the climb is challenging it is also extremely rewarding when ascending through the pristine snowline. 
  • After reaching the pass, begin a two-hour descent, crossing a flowing stream to reach the beautiful Munirang campsite. 
  • Here, you’ll enjoy dinner and a well-deserved rest.
  • The final leg of your journey takes you from Munirang to the charming Barua Village in Kinnaur. 
  • This 2-3 hour descent offers a gentler pace, allowing you to soak in the last moments of the trek. 
  • As you arrive in Barua Village, you’ll be greeted by the warmth and hospitality of the locals. 
  • Reflect on the incredible journey you’ve undertaken on your drive back from Barua Village to Shimla.
  • As you reach Shimla, we will bid each other goodbye and cherish the memories made together.

Drop off Timing – 9.00 PM 

It is recommended to book your return bus after 11.00 PM.

  • Accommodation: 1 Night in a Guest House / Homestay in Janglik on sharing basis and 5 Nights Tented Accommodation on a triple sharing basis.
  • Transportation: Surface transfer from Shimla – Janglik – Shimla by Sumo / Bolero / Tempo Traveler (Depending on the number of travelers).
  • Meals:All veg meals from Day 1st Dinner to Day 7th Day Breakfast. 
  • Snacks: Morning / Evening Tea / Coffee with light snacks and soup while on the trek.
