ABOUT THE TREK

Mt. Deo Tibba is a beautiful peak in the Pir Panjal range situated just beside the Indrasan peak (Highest peak of Pir Panjal range). Standing at an altitude of 6001 m, the peak is considered the second highest peak of Pir Panjal range. As per Hindu mythology, Deo Tibba is believed to be the assembly site of the gods. The expedition to this peak takes around 10 days and suitable for those who have previous high altitude trekking experience and has knowledge of mountaineering techniques.

Itinerary

Arrive Manali and acclimatize. One can visit Solang Nala and old Manali or buy required stuff from there if needed.
After breakfast, start our drive towards Khanol. The drive is scenic and takes around 1 hour. Reach Khanol and start your trek towards Chikka. An easy trek of 2 hours takes you to Chikka. Overnight stay in Chikka.
Today, we move towards Seri and continue our trek along the Jagatsukh Nallah. Seri is a vast meadow having herbs and alpine flowers. We set up our camps at the base camp of Deo Tibba. The campsite offers amazing views of Mt. Deo Tibba. Overnight stay in the camps.
The day is reserved for the acclimatization. We will do short hikes.
Today, we will approach the camp 1 through the Dhuangan Col.
We will do the load ferry and set up our camps at camp 1.
Today, we will climb up to camp 2, which is situated at a height of 5800 m.
We will attempt the summit and descend back to the base camp.
This day is reserved in case of bad weather.
We will trek back to Chikka all the way and stay there.
Trek down to Khanol and drive to Manali.
